시골 연못은 모든 것이 고요하고 평화로운 낙원의 작은 조각들이다. 아니면 그런 것 같은데... 연못의 사람들에게 이 시적 배경은 생존을 위한 일상적인 투쟁을 상징한다.

아쿠아레나는 연못 근처의 먹이사슬이 어떻게 생겼는지 보여줍니다. 포식자들이 좋아하는 먹이를 잡을 수 있도록 연못 주변에 조심스럽게 위치시키세요. 하지만 그들 역시 다른 포식자의 먹이가 될 수 있으니 조심하세요.


게임은 4라운드에 걸쳐 진행되며, 각 라운드는 계획, 결심, 득점의 3단계로 구성된다.


계획 단계: 시작 플레이어부터 시계 방향 순서로 플레이어들은 원하는 물 타일의 가장자리에 놓고 다른 카드 1장을 버리고 새로운 카드 2장을 뽑습니다. 플레이어는 4장의 카드가 나올 때까지 차례대로 플레이를 계속한다: 처음 2장의 카드는 위를 향하고 마지막 2장의 카드는 아래를 향하게 한다.
해결 단계: 시작 플레이어가 워터 타일 하나를 선택하고 그 위에 놓여있던 얼굴을 아래로 향하게 하는 프레데터 카드를 표시합니다. 타일 위의 모든 카드는 1부터 10까지의 숫자 순서로 해결됩니다. 타일 위의 모든 프레데터 카드가 해결되면 시계 방향으로 순서대로 다음 플레이어가 해결할 다른 워터 타일을 선택합니다. 모든 물 타일이 해결될 때까지 이렇게 계속합니다.
득점 단계: 플레이어는 자신이 잡은 파리와 상대편의 사냥 횟수에 따라 개구리 미플을 점수 트랙 위로 여러 칸 이동시킨다.


게임은 네 번째 라운드가 끝나면 끝납니다. 승점이 가장 많은 선수가 승자입니다.

Countryside ponds are little slices of paradise where everything is calm and peaceful. Or so it seems... For pond’s people, this poetic backdrop represents a daily struggle for survival, where it’s “eat or be eaten”!

Aquarena shows us what the food chain near a pond looks like. Carefully position your predators around the pond, so they can catch their favorite prey. But beware: they too can fall prey to other predators.


A game takes place over 4 rounds, each of which consists of 3 successive phases: Planning, Resolution and Scoring.


Planning phase: beginning with the starting player and then in clockwise order, players choose 1 card from their hand which they place on the edge of a Water tile of their choice, discard 1 other card from their hand and draw 2 new cards. Players continue taking turns until they have played 4 cards: the first 2 cards are placed face up and the last 2 cards are placed face down.
Resolution phase: the starting player chooses one Water tile and reveals the face-down Predator cards that were placed on it. All cards on the tile are resolved in numerical order, from 1 to 10. When all Predator cards on the tile have been resolved, the next player in clockwise order chooses another Water tile to resolve. Continue like this until all Water tiles have been resolved.
Scoring phase: players move their Frog meeple a number of spaces up the score track depending on how many flies and opponent preys they caught.


The game ends after the fourth round. The player with the most victory points is the winner.
