The Witchborn: Enter Perdition includes 16 Reaper Bones miniatures and rules to build Dwarven or Elven war clans and 16 plains denizens monster miniatures which might appear during the adventures. The box also includes rules to for Guild, Norn, Orc and Paladin war clans (miniatures for these are NOT included in the core box but are available as The Witchborn: War Clans edition). The game can be played with whatever suitable 28-32mm models you may have lying around. Also included is the highly replayable Enter Perdition adventure, with unique battle map and rules and all the tokens and dice you need to play the game.

After its creation your war clan participates in a true “campaign game” with an expanding series of adventures. Each adventure has its own 46” x 39” battlemap depicting an exotic locale. The adventures are highly replayable and more adventures are available as expansions. In the adventure included in the box an airship crashes in the Kasel Plains, jettisoning potentially valuable cargo. Each player leads their war clan in a search for the treasure—but needs caution. The once gentle centaurs of the plains are all WitchBorn now.

During missions warriors’ discoveries, wounds, and horrible fumbles are handled by apps for Android or iOS which tell a unique story every time you play. Smart phone apps take the place of a game master or an overlord, guiding players through a variety of random encounters.

Once a war clan escapes the battlemap with the airship cargo, players adjust their rosters. The war clan roster is the central tool that allows warriors to level up and change after each adventure. Players spend money they earn to choose from hundreds of items to equip their war clans. The roster tracks changes, so players can watch their characters develop from inept beginnings to their rise as dominant heroes.
