S.O.S. Galápagos는 무책임한 인간의 활동으로 인해 생명이 위협받는 동물을 구하는 것이 임무인 생태 활동가의 역할을 플레이어들이 맡는 보드게임이다. 위험에 처한 동물을 구하기 위해 플레이어는 액션 주사위와 도우미 토큰으로 대표되는 자원을 최대한 활용해야 한다.

경기는 정확히 12라운드로 진행되며, 각 라운드는 다음과 같은 순서로 5단계로 나뉜다.

1단계) 위협
B단계) 주사위 던지기
C단계) 플레이어 작업
D단계) 조치 해결
단계 E) 다음 라운드 준비

차례가 진행되는 동안 플레이어는 자신의 액션 주사위와 도우미 토큰이 허용하는 모든 동작을 수행할 수 있습니다. 두 종류의 행동을 모두 사용함으로써, 플레이어들은 위험에 처한 동물들을 구하고 환경 위협에 맞서 싸우려고 시도한다. 게임이 끝나면 가장 많은 수의 구조 포인트를 수집한 사람이 수석 구조자로 선언되어 승리하게 됩니다.

The Galápagos Islands are known worldwide as "The Enchanted Islands", a paradise of wildlife inhabited by species unique in the world, the same paradise that inspired Charles Darwin in his formulation of the Theory of Evolution — but any environmental change may disturb the delicate balance of the ecosystem that shelters these wonderful animals, putting their lives at risk!

S.O.S. Galápagos is a board game in which players take on the role of ecological activists whose mission is to rescue animals whose lives are threatened by irresponsible human activity. In order to rescue animals at risk, players must make the best possible use of their resources, which are represented by action dice and helper tokens.

The game lasts exactly twelve rounds, each of which is divided into five phases in this order:

Phase A) Threat
Phase B) Throwing the dice
Phase C) Player actions
Phase D) Resolving actions
Phase E) Preparing the next round

During a turn, a player can perform all the actions that their action dice and helper tokens allow. Through the use of both kinds of actions, players attempt to rescue animals at risk and to fight against environmental threats. At the end of the game, whoever has collected the highest number of rescue points will be declared chief rescuer and win.
